Job Description
Assistant Operations Manager Active Private Security is seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daily security operations . This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the on-site security team, ensuring contract compliance, maintaining client satisfaction, and supporting daily operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the on-site security team. Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and company management. Ensure all shifts are properly staffed and assist with scheduling and shift coverage. Conduct site inspections and ensure officers follow post orders and company policies. Coach, mentor, and evaluate security officers while maintaining professional standards. Complete incident reports, inspections, and operational documentation. Oversee company vehicles, radios, phones, uniforms, and other assigned equipment. Respond to operational issues and emergencies as needed. Maintain a professional relationship with the client while ensuring high-quality security services. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of security supervisory or management experience . Valid CA Guard Card Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with scheduling, report writing, and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and lead a team.
Preferred:
Previous experience using the TrackTik app for security operations, activity reports, incident reporting, and other daily documentation.Preferred:
Valid California Armed Exposed Firearm Permit . Requirements Must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening . Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Reliable transportation and the ability to respond to operational needs.
