Vacaville Department Overview Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions. Position Summary Ensures security response to alarms, incidents, and events affecting PG&E assets. Work with LOB contacts to address potential security and regulatory compliance issues. Operators lead contract security officers to execute security operations and support corporate security Job Responsibilities Assists with resolution of immediate security concerns (e.g., security events, law enforcement information requests, incidents, and alarms). Standardizes and automates access control processes, partnering with Line of Business contacts. Provides support on NERC/CIP, SOX, and other regulatory compliance initiatives regarding access control procedures, database activities, and CIP-006 background check requirements. Coordinates with Corporate Security personnel, Law Enforcement, and Line of Business stakeholders to address information and data requests related to security operations, investigations, compliance activities, and regulatory requirements. Monitors and acknowledges alarms and security systems, ensuring appropriate escalation and coordination of security responses. Ensures compliance with legal, Federal, and State regulations. Provides support in composing and proofreading correspondence/documents and compiling data for standard reports. Responds to data requests related to incident investigations, compliance and regulatory audits, and customer inquiries. Compensation The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.70 to $49.04
Qualifications Minimum:
High School or GED Experience in control center, dispatch or operations center CA Class C License, or equivalent Must be able to obtain
NERC/CIP
clearance
Desired:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Military or law enforcement experience Previous security dispatch experience Leadership experience, security operation centers, or related NERC-North American Electric Reliability Corporation certification
