DESCRIPTION
Application deadline: Sep 3, 2026 The US ADC Data Center Security Manager serves as the site security leader at an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) logistics warehouse facility. This role owns the execution of physical security, operational security, and information protection at a mission-critical warehouse supporting classified ADC operations. You will manage day-to-day security operations at your assigned warehouse site, direct onsite security personnel, maintain compliance with ADC warehouse physical security standards, and protect Company Data and critical infrastructure from insider and external threats. You will operate independently, triage competing priorities, own security-related projects, and deliver responsive support to both internal Amazon teams and external government customers. This position reports to the Cluster Security Manager and partners closely with Data Center Operations, Logistics, Industrial Security, the Security Program Management team, and government customer security representatives. Key job responsibilities Site Security Operations Direct and manage onsite security forces to execute daily warehouse security operations Create, implement, and communicate security requirements at an ADC logistics warehouse facility, including oversight of access control across warehouse security zones Perform and support the operations and maintenance of security hardware and systems deployed onsite, including access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance Manage and participate in on-call rotations in support of alarm response, security incidents, escalations, and critical service outages Provide after-hours management support and participate in emergent event response Program Security & Compliance Provide comprehensive security guidance across physical security, operational security, and information protection disciplines Conduct security incident investigations Support the classified material program to ensure procedures align with internal and customer security policies Execute compliance processes consistent with AWS policies, standards, guidelines, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements Participate in recurring security audits, inspections, and reviews conducted by internal teams and government customers Draft and review security documentation including notifications, standards, procedures, and concepts of operations (CONOPs) Physical Security & Risk Mitigation Proactively identify physical security requirements, potential vulnerabilities, and solutions to sustain and enhance site security posture Plan, conduct, and participate in security response drills and tabletop exercises Ensure warehouse physical security controls align with the ADC Logistics Warehouse Physical Security Design Standard, including perimeter security, access control doors, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and security zone integrity Coordinate with the Security Program Management team on security design, system sustainment, UL 2050 compliance, and capital improvement projects Ensure security systems and controls meet accreditation standards and pass government inspection Stakeholder Engagement & Relationships Develop and strengthen relationships with internal teams (operations, logistics, engineering) and external partners (vendors, contractors, government customers) Serve as the primary security point of contact for your assigned site, engaging both Amazon leadership and government customer security representatives Coordinate with Industrial Security on access eligibility and workforce compliance matters affecting site operations Coordinate with the Security Operations Manager on cleared escort coverage requirements and scheduling at the site level Heighten security awareness and engagement across all site personnel through training, communication, and visible leadership Financial & Vendor Management Manage security purchase orders and contribute to financial analysis for security requirements Assist cluster leadership with budget decisions related to site security operations and sustainment Oversee contract security guard performance and ensure vendor compliance with contractual requirements Support the extraction of performance metrics from workflow ticketing systems to inform data-driven decisions About the team Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. Government Security Clearance 5+ years of experience in a Security Specialist, Security Manager, or equivalent role requiring interpretation and implementation of physical security and operational security requirements in a government or cleared-facility environment 5+ years of experience with physical security best practices including security system application, investigation techniques, contract guard management, and incident management Experience with access control (e.g., Lenel), intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems Knowledge of ICD, NISPOM, and NIST standards related to classified facility security and accreditationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
