Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for directing and delegating responsibilities to Security Shift Supervisors, Senior Security Officers, and Security Officers. Responsible for conducting interviews and evaluating security staff. Responsible for overseeing staff development, motivation, and training. Recommends documents and issues discipline. Responsible for reviewing and submitting all shift paperwork. Communicates all policy and procedure changes, special events, and other activities to security personnel. Responsible for the efficient scheduling of security personnel as required. Responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring maintenance of a system that complies with Company and Departmental Procedures, Internal Controls, VLEU, and Delaware State Racing Commission Regulations. Responsible for positive interactions with VLEU, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Delaware State Racing Commission. Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team. Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) or more years of security supervisory experience (gaming industry preferred). Must be able to complete and maintain the background check and licensing process required by the Delaware Lottery. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
