SIE Senior Specialist, SIE Specialist Job Summary The SIE Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of security protocols, infrastructure maintenance, and environmental compliance across the facility. Acting as the direct supervisor to the SIE Specialist and Senior Specialist, this role ensures that all operational tasks align with company standards, corporate governance, and local regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of facility systems with proven leadership capabilities to maintain a safe, secure, and highly efficient operational environment including oversight, compliance accountability, vendor management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership & Personnel Management Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the SIE Specialist and Senior Specialist. Allocate daily workloads, establish clear performance metrics, and ensure the team is continuously trained on updated protocols and compliance standards. Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex technical or operational issues encountered by the specialist team. Strong communication skills, negotiations skills and coordination skills to ensure efficient execution of projects in conjunction with other divisions and clients. Strong and quick decision-making skills to minimize risk and maximize support of operations 2. Infrastructure & Operations Oversight Oversee the routine inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of all critical facility infrastructure (including HVAC, electrical, structural, and plumbing systems, etc.). Occasional hands-on repairs. Coordinate with the contractors, vendors and clients to manage major facilities projects, ensuring structural modifications or reinforcement projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Manage external contractors and vendors, from scope-of-work development and bidding to final quality inspection and invoice approval. 3. Security & Loss Prevention Governance Ensure rigorous execution of all site security protocols, access control systems, and surveillance monitoring. Understanding of physical security equipment such as CCTV and monitoring systems Collaborate with related departments and stakeholders to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and enhance, maintain and execute security protocols. Investigate complex security breaches or operational incidents, providing detailed root-cause analyses and implementing corrective actions. Effective and strong communication with all stakeholders to ensure consistent and stable security measures. 4. Environmental Compliance Accountable for maintaining absolute compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and local fire marshal codes). Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials, as well as the maintenance of safety equipment (fire suppression, wastewater management). Lead regular safety audits and ensure the team maintains precise documentation for internal corporate governance and external regulatory inspections. Roles and Responsibility Matrix Primary Focus Team leadership, vendor management, compliance accountability, and escalation. Authority Direct Supervisor (Hiring input, performance reviews, task delegation). Problem Solving Manage systemic risks, vendor disputes, and regulatory non-compliance. Job Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field (Equivalent practical experience will be considered). HVAC, Electrical experience preferred 3-5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, industrial operations, construction project management, and/or environmental safety. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Certifications (Highly Desirable) OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction certification.
NFPA 70E FMP
(Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager). PSP (Physical Security Professional) or relevant safety/loss prevention credentials. Technical & Soft Skills Must have strong PPT, Excel and document creation skills Deep understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, structural, plumbing) and preventative maintenance strategies. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance landscapes (OSHA standards, building/electrical codes, fire marshal mandates). Proven ability to manage multiple capital improvement projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into clear management briefs and actionable tasks for direct reports. The estimated base salary range for the SIE Specialist is $86 ,000
