Station Security Manager

We are seeking a Security Manager to lead security operations at a large facility in McCook, Illinois. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the physical security measures, collaborating with a contracted security team and local staff to ensure compliance with TAPA America guidelines. Your contributions will help secure the facility and optimize security procedures, making a significant impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the physical security operations at a 1 million square foot facility, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Administer security policies and provide training for the local security team to align with established procedures. Conduct detailed reporting and analytics on security incidents to identify trends and support decision-making. Collaborate with Corporate Security to enhance security processes and ensure adherence to global policies. Work closely with the contracted security team to reduce incident response times and improve overall security performance.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing physical security in a 3PL environment for at least 5 years. Strong background in collaborating with corporate security and IT teams to maintain compliance with global security policies. Demonstrated expertise in developing and administering security protocols and policies. Can effectively report and analyze security incidents, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Experience in training and developing security teams, promoting adherence to best practices.
