• Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Area Security Manager to lead our security operations across multiple locations within a designated region.

The Area Manager for River City Security and Investigations LLC will manage and coordinate the activities of all security staff at their assigned posts. They will execute all tasks related to maintaining standards in compliance with operating procedures.

Duties will include:

• Report to the Regional Operations Manager and the Regional Operations Director
• Supervise and manage a team of employees in multiple locations
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
• Assist with the hiring of personnel
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
• Training new employees on their duties at each site and explaining company policies and procedures
• Managing paperwork as it relates to off-days, PTO, medical visits, vacation, court etc.
• Visiting 4-5 sites on each working day when not filling open shifts
• Must handle all verbal and written documentation and then submit them to their chain of command for review and sent to the HR department.
• May be required to work Holidays, Birthdays, etc., as needed by the company.

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess an up-to-date Armed License through the Louisiana State Board Of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE)
• Provide proof of at least two years of supervisory experience
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred
• Must be flexible and be able to work nights/ weekends
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must possess a valid state-issued drivers license and a clean motor vehicle driver report
• Must pass a background/ drug screening at point of hiring
