LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH TEN TO FIFTEEN YEARS OF EXPERIENCE HANDLING MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

SHOULD HAVE A HEAVY SECURITY BACKGROUND WITH EXCELLENT INVESTIGATION/INTERVIEWING/INTERROGATION SKILLS AND BE VERY ADEPT AT COLD INTERVIEWS OR GENERAL LOSS INTERVIEWING.

SAFETY EXPERIENCE IS KEY AS WELL.

As an asset protection manager you prevent financial loss, theft, and fraud within a company. Your responsibilities include providing security to multiple locations and ensuring the safety of company inventory. An asset protection manager does an investigation into any criminal activities that occur within the company.

YOU ENTER A LOCATION WHERE THERE ARE LOSSES OR FRAUD SOMEWHERE BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE IT'S COMING FROM. YOU MUST CONDUCT A COLD INTERVIEW WHERE YOU START WITH HOW ARE YOU DOING CASUALLY INTERVIEWING THE PERSON FOLLOWED BY INTERROGATION FOLLOWED BY ACCUSATION. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years asset protection / loss prevention experience , including systems and operations in a retail store or distribution center setting with a national brand (or equivalent experience) Knowledge of local laws on theft, shoplifting and apprehension Ability to apply effective analytical and critical thinking skills, solve problems independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to effectively convey knowledge, information, and skills to others through in-person and virtual sessions Must have non-confrontational interview technique that aims to build trust and rapport with the interviewee to elicit accurate information Must have a rapport-based, conversational approach to the interview process resulting in transparency and rational thought, thereby eliminating conflict between the subject and interviewer.

THOSE WITH BUSINESS AND OR LAW ENFORCEMENT BACKGROUND IS IMPORTANT.

•

MUST UNDERSTAND HOW BUSINESS WORKS AND HOW PROFIT AND LOSS WORKS.

•

HE/SHE MUST HAVE BUSINESS ACUMEN. CERTIFICATION IN WICKLANDER-ZULASKI METHOD OF INTERVIEWING OR THE REID METHOD OF INTERVIEWING/INTERROGATION IS A HUGE PLUS.

•

LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS VERY STRONG AND DILIGENT IN PURSUING SITUATIONS AND REACHING A CONCLUSION.

•

MUST BE FIRM AND DILIGENT AND ABLE TO DISCUSS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THE STAFF/MANAGERS AS WELL AS THE CORPORATE EXECUTIVES.

MUST BE ABLE TO CALMLY DISCUSS AND ADVISE. 60
