This role manages access control systems, develops security policies, ensures compliance, investigates security incidents, and leads the access control team. Key Responsibilities Manage access control systems, including badges, card readers, biometrics, and visitor management. Oversee employee and contractor access provisioning and conduct regular access audits. Monitor and respond to access-related incidents and security breaches. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct security risk assessments and recommend corrective actions. Administer access control systems, maintain documentation, and coordinate with vendors. Lead, train, and mentor security personnel while promoting security awareness. Prepare reports and performance metrics for leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in security management, physical security, or access control. Experience with enterprise access control systems and security technologies. Strong knowledge of physical security, risk management, and compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security management software. Preferred Qualifications CPP, PSP, or other security certifications. Experience in corporate, financial, healthcare, or other high-security environments. Familiarity with enterprise access control platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, C•CURE, or AMAG.
