The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of security protocols, and the ability to manage conflict effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the protection of our assets, personnel, and visitors while maintaining a secure environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Supervise security personnel, providing training and guidance on best practices in loss prevention and conflict management. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and respond to security breaches or suspicious activities. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security operations for reporting purposes. Ensure that all security staff are trained in first aid and CPR, promoting a safe workplace for all employees. Experience Proven experience in a security management role or related field, with a strong background in loss prevention strategies. Certification in security management or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems. Experience in conflict management techniques to effectively handle difficult situations. Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
