The idea candidate for this role has general knowledge of security in a public-safety emergency center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in law enforcement, corporate security, regulatory, fusion center, or other investigative agency or organization.

Responsibilities:

Provides analytical and tactical support for a centralized, security operations center

Utilizes sophisticated security systems and technologies for intrusion analysis, subtle event detection, video analytics, and incident management

Manages multiple, electronic, access control systems, to monitor and facilitate response for automated alarm systems

Collaborates with others in security, making decisions in a high-stress environment

Manages multiple priorities with consistent results

Assesses incoming threat streams, to develop accurate conclusions on security events at monitored sites

Utilizes strong, critical thinking skills, to evaluate suspicious activities and pre-operational indicators at or near company sites

Documents security incidents, alarm activity, and alarm responses timely and accurately

Interacts routinely with law enforcement during routine operations, drills, or emergencies at company facilities

Assumes primary responsibility for responding to emergency contingencies at all company facilities

Adheres to and updates departmental, security operating procedures

Supports regulatory compliance for access control systems

May provide assistance in assessing and/or investigating security events, to determine associated threats and appropriate response

May assist in performing complex analyses, using automated and manual systems

May coordinate emergency notification procedures, in accordance with company response plans

Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Successful candidate will be working in 24/7 operated control room

Consistent demonstration of strong, critical thinking and decision-making skills, applied in a security environment

Monitor and respond to security events

Provide in-depth, security expertise

Assess security incidents and to take appropriate action

Manage the flow of sensitive information

Coordinate and manage multiple work processes

Provide leadership in a team environment

Work independently and to achieve results with little supervision

Requirements:

0 - 2 years directly related, general knowledge of security in a public-safety organization, emergency services center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in law enforcement, corporate security, regulatory, fusion center, or other investigative agency or similar organization

Prior experience in a security position/environment

Ability to monitor and respond to security events

Knowledge and understanding of security concepts and sophisticated security technologies to support a security operations center

Be able to multi-task between various alarm systems, video management systems, and handle incoming phone calls.

Basic computer operation skills & MS office

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
