Security Systems Senior Engineer AT&T Stadium - 4.2 Arlington, TX Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook CCTV system operation (AV) Alarm & access control systems Visio Door security system integration Full Job Description The Security Systems Senior Engineer will manage enterprise security platforms, including Genetec Security Center, across multiple Dallas Cowboys properties, including AT&T Stadium, The Star, and Dallas Cowboys Merchandising. The Senior Systems Senior Engineer reports directly to the Director of Security and Parking.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the company-wide CCTV and access control subject matter expert Install, configure, and maintain Genetec Security Center server infrastructure, including Directory, Archiver, and Media Gateway roles Manage video archival and cold storage systems, including retention policy enforcement, storage capacity planning, and archive integrity monitoring Design and maintain redundancy and failover strategies for all security platforms, ensuring continuous operation during system failures or maintenance windows Monitor CCTV and access control system health, perform routine maintenance, and apply updates/patches as needed Ensure security platforms remain up-to-date and monitor new technology trends in the industry Serve as the project manager for new security technology projects, including but not limited to camera installations, access control modifications, and new software configurations Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues Support the IT department in upgrades, migrations, and configurations related to security technology Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities Overall active contributor to the Event Operation Team; effective communicator across all levels of the organization and with vendor partners Support, manage, and develop any direct reports to enrich the overall capability of the department and the broader team Oversee security technology portion of the Stadium Operations budget Conduct training sessions and offer user support for CCTV systems such as Genetec (Omnicast) Manage user onboarding and provide necessary training for access control platforms, including Genetec (Synergis) Work with the Dallas Cowboys' legal department as required on incidents at
AT&T Stadium Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 + years of experience with enterprise video surveillance and access control systems Must have or be able to obtain and maintain Genetec Security Center Certification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Management or a similar field is preferred Extensive technical knowledge of various security systems and devices, including alarms, cameras and access control systems, and other security technology in large-scale enterprise environments Field experience deploying security systems in complex environments Strong demonstrable understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, PoE, VLANs) Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects Flexibility to quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure Works well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Able to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, lean, lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable on ladders, lifts, and in tight places The Dallas Cowboys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
