Job description Rock Creek Resort is looking for a Security Chief to join our team at our Gordonville, TX property.

Job Summary:

The Security Chief is responsible for the supervision of security personnel and the overall security operations of the facility. You will supervise security personnel and ensure that security functions are being properly performed. The Chief will also supervise and manage the day to day operations of security personnel.

Essential Duties:

Supervise Security Personnel and their activities. Oversee security personnel at all posted locations. Ensure that security personnel are complying with policies and procedures. Provide leadership, training, and develop staff on assigned duties. Provide feedback to all facility managers on security issues and concerns. Ensure that all assigned duties are being performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provide feedback to the owner or facility manager on security concerns and issues. Ensure that staff are following all required procedures when operating personal electronic devices at Rock Creek Resort facilities. Ensure that all required procedures are being followed when providing client-facing services such as answering phones, greeting visitors, etc. at facilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Proven experience as supervisor or in a supervisory capacity. Excellent supervisory skills; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management and external customers. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions/opportunities for delay. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities and deadlines; maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations; use good judgment in decision-making; work productively with minimal supervision; possess good computer skills; problem solving; excellent time management skills; ability to communicate well with staff, customers and external customers; problem solving; exceptional attention to detail; independent decision making; flexibility; team player; dependable attendance; college degree preferred.
