Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of attendees at various events in and around the Auburn area. This role involves providing a visible security presence at Greek events, sporting events, school functions, and other gatherings. The ideal candidate will be attentive, professional, and capable of maintaining a secure environment while offering excellent customer service to event participants. Duties Monitor event premises to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order during events. Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to appropriate authorities promptly. Assist with crowd control to ensure smooth flow and safety of all attendees. Provide a welcoming and professional presence, offering assistance and directions as needed. Enforce event policies and safety protocols in a respectful manner. Conduct regular patrols of the designated areas to ensure ongoing security coverage. Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary. Document incidents accurately and complete required reports following each event. Requirements Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional throughout the duration of events. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-specific schedules. Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or certifications.
