This role requires a highly responsible individual with a strong background in security protocols, law enforcement, or military experience. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring access points, patrolling designated areas, and responding swiftly to any security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent conflict management skills and be committed to maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures. 24 hours 7 days a week. 12 hour shifts. Duties Monitor and control access to the property using CCTV systems and physical checkpoints Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if necessary Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies Use surveillance equipment effectively to observe activity and identify suspicious behavior Manage conflicts professionally, de-escalating situations when possible Provide assistance and guidance to visitors or staff as needed Qualifications Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles preferred Valid certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in CCTV operation or surveillance are a plus Strong knowledge of conflict management and loss prevention techniques Ability to operate surveillance equipment and CCTV systems effectively Excellent observational skills with attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations professionally Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond swiftly during emergencies This position offers an opportunity for dedicated individuals committed to maintaining safety and order within our community.
