Job Overview Join our team as an Unarmed Day/Night Security Officer and play a key role in protecting property, assets, and facilities during non-operational hours. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment overnight by conducting patrols, monitoring for suspicious activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. Your presence will help deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while ensuring the site remains safe and secure until normal operations resume. Responsibilities Conduct routine and random patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, or vandalism Secure all access points, ensuring doors, gates, and restricted areas remain properly controlled Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or unusual activity and follow established procedures Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and unauthorized entry Monitor cameras or surveillance systems when applicable Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and local law enforcement when needed Ensure all safety hazards are identified and reported immediately Remain on post at all times until properly relieved Skills & Qualifications Strong observational and situational awareness skills Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight hours Good communication and report-writing abilities Ability to handle situations calmly and professionally Basic understanding of security procedures and emergency response Physical ability to walk or stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Additional Expectations Must stay awake, alert, and actively engaged throughout the entire shift No leaving post without proper relief or supervisor approval Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Follow all post orders and site-specific instructions

Pay:
