Job Description

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, AR has an opening for a full time Security Officer within our Security Department .
Our Mission:
Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care. The Security Officer protects life and property of all persons on hospital and clinic premises and patrols all buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Provides support when needed to all other departments. Responds to security needs of hospital and clinics personnel, patients, and visitors. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License required. Current CPR certification approved by the American Heart Association (BLS, Heartsaver, or FriendsFamily) upon hire or must be obtained during orientation period or at the next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, AHA CPR certification must be maintained by renewal period or at next available scheduled class. Current CARE certification upon hire or CARE certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current CARE certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class. One to three (1-3) years experience in the field of law enforcement and/or security or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. OCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer
