$18.00/HR
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be age 21 or older and qualify for a gaming license Cannot be convicted of a felony High School diploma or GED, and/or some college preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write incident reports and to effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Security, military, or police experience preferred BSIS Guard Card, CPR First Aid Certificate, and ABC Alcohol Training preferred Must be physically fit, requires standing, walking, bending May be required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds Must have good vision (corrected 20.20) Must pass a pre-employment drug test
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Guard Casino property and guests against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry Patrol buildings and grounds of the Casino and related areas, this includes examining doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws pertaining to the gaming industry. Warns violators of hours, gaming rule infractions and drinking violations Apprehend persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, health hazards and security hazards to the Security Manager/Supervisor. Notify the Security Control room in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property Permit authorized persons to enter the property Record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of equipment or machinery Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays All other duties as assigned

Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations. Each employee is expected to make every effort to be well-informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command respect of co-workers and all other personnel. An optimistic attitude, patience and tolerance will help each employee in nearly all situations at the casino.
