Job Description

Job Summary The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment at The Flower Mine site in San Manuel, Arizona. This position plays a critical role in protecting company personnel, property, and assets, while ensuring compliance with all company policies and Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of security operations. Key Responsibilities Site Safety & Security Oversight Maintain a visible security presence and ensure adherence to all safety and security protocols. Identify potential safety and security risks; assess, report, and address issues proactively to prevent incidents. Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in accordance with established procedures. Monitor camera systems, access points, and alarm panels to ensure continuous coverage and situational awareness. Access Control & Compliance Control and document access to secure areas, ensuring only authorized personnel and vendors enter restricted zones. Verify identification and credentials of visitors, contractors, and staff as required by company policy and state regulation. Ensure all security operations remain compliant with AZDHS requirements and company standard operating procedures (SOPs). Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate and timely daily activity logs, incident reports, and post inventory tracking. Audit and review security-related documentation; annotate and correct discrepancies promptly. Communicate incident details and observations clearly to dispatch, leadership, and external agencies as required. Collaboration & Communication Partner with the Security Site Supervisor and Director of Security to report concerns, trends, or operational issues. Support company departments by maintaining professional and effective communication across teams. Participate in regular security meetings and ongoing site audits. Technology & Systems Operate and monitor camera systems, electronic access control, and alarm systems. Demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) for logging and reporting. Education High school diploma or equivalent.

Manual dexterity Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) Job may involve sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods, as well as stooping, bending, and crouching Must be able to stand for long durations
