Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Conduct patrols around the facility to deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities while ensuring safety protocols are upheld. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order. Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management skills. Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while standing or walking for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond clearly under pressure. Familiarity with security protocols and procedures relevant to the industry or environment. A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all stakeholders.
