As an Armed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License. Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
