Job Description

A direct hire opportunity is available for an Experienced CNC Machinist in Adelanto, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC professional with hands-on experience in machine setup, operation, program editing, precision measurement, and producing high-quality machined components to exact specifications. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule in a manufacturing environment that values quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.   • Perform complete CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and program verification.
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, vertical boring mills, and related CNC equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and work instructions.
  • Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Identify machining, tooling, programming, or quality issues and collaborate with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate production records, complete inspection documentation, perform routine machine care, and follow all safety and ISO quality procedures. Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Perform CNC machine setup, operation, program verification, and program editing.
  • Produce precision machined components according to blueprints, tolerances, and work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot tooling, machining, programming, and part quality issues.
  • Complete part inspections and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
  • Must have CNC machining experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant CNC machining, setup, or programming experience preferred based on role level.
  • Experience operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, vertical boring mills, or similar CNC equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
  • Ability to make offsets, verify programs, set tooling, and perform accurate machine setups.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, reliability, and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, engineering, and quality personnel. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a precision manufacturing or custom machining environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality procedures and inspection documentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting CNC programs, tooling issues, and machining process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-focused production environment.
