Position Overview As an Unarmed Bank Security Officer with Inter-Con, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment while providing excellent customer service to employees, customers, visitors, and vendors. This position requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to interact effectively with the public while maintaining a visible security presence. What You'll Do Maintain a professional and visible security presence Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas Help prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas Greet and assist customers, employees, visitors, and vendors Conduct security patrols of assigned areas Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unusual conditions Respond appropriately to security incidents and calls for assistance Follow established post orders and security procedures Document incidents and complete accurate security reports Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures when necessary Maintain professional and courteous working relationships with employees and members of the public Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Valid California BSIS Guard Card Ability to legally work in the United States Ability to speak, read, and write English Ability to write clear and accurate reports Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment during confrontational or emergency situations Ability to establish professional working relationships with the public and staff Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug screening Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position Valid California Driver's License preferred.
