Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises using foot or vehicle patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel and visitors. Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity across the site, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Respond swiftly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by following established emergency response procedures. Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and manage disputes professionally to prevent escalation. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy. Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and support. Experience Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, or military service with a focus on physical security and surveillance. Demonstrated ability to handle firearms safely and effectively, including firearm handling training certification. Knowledge of emergency response procedures such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and Taser use. Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations. Strong conflict management skills with experience in conflict de-escalation techniques and customer service-oriented approach. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary during patrols or emergency situations. Background checks clearance and understanding of performing background checks as part of security screening processes.
