Security Officer (AMPAS)

RMI is looking to hire an Unarmed Security Officer to work at various locations, for one client in Beverly Hills. Support for day to day security operations. Ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property by monitoring access points, patrolling the venue or site, and responding to incidents, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Must be comfortable working with technology (Microsoft Office for emails, reports, data entries, access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm system, and Fire Life Safety).

SALARY:

$21.00 per hour #1 Beverly Hills F.T. 32 hours per week $21.00/hr. a. Saturdays Sundays 3:30pm to 11:30pm (.5 paid lunch) b. Mondays Tuesdays 6pm to 2am (.5 paid lunch) c. Off Wed/Thur/Fri d. Additional hours available based on available hours plus employee's availability e. RMI International is a professional private security company that is looking for a responsible, courteous, and dedicated individual to work full-time and part-time as Security Officers. We are looking for competent Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation Assist people in need Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to the legal protocol before arrival of authorities Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences Qualifications and Skills Good driving record Valid driver's license Valid CA Guard Card Proven experience as security officer or guard Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems High school diploma is required Professional appearance and attitude Good customer service skills Detail-oriented Basic computer skills Strong communication skills Be able to stand for 30 minutes with ease At least 18 yrs. of age Reliable transportation.
