Job Overview The Unarmed Security Agent provides a safe and secure environment for our clients. Dark Horse Services, Inc. uniquely designs a comprehensive safety and security plan to ensure that our clients, and their representatives, have the freedom and flexibility to work, travel and conduct their lives without distractions, disruptions, or inconveniences. The focus of the Unarmed Security Agent is to: monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) / remote camera systems; provide access control to client properties; provide fire watch and fire suppression system monitoring; provide realtime information to Armed Security Agents assigned to specific client(s); create, write, and submit various reports; and, provide problem solving and customer service skills to our client(s). The Unarmed Security Agent will support all divisions of Dark Horse Services, including but not limited to, Education, Construction, Religious/Houses of Worship, Retail, Special Operations, and special events. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Preservation of life, including the safety and physical security of assigned client Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service to our clients Build a safe, secure, and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner as well as safeguarding client assets Observe and report unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site As a candidate, you must have: CA Guard Card; Must possess prior military/law enforcement experience, OR a minimum of 3 years related to safety/security operations; Must be able to physically stand for a minimum of 8 hours Must be able to physically lift a minimum of 25 lbs Must be able to understand and use Microsoft Office programs Must be able to use a cell phone, laptop/computer, and/or radio Must have a CA Driver's License to operate company vehicle We offer: $18.50-$20.50 Hourly, OT may be included for certain assignments On-going training Opportunities to include Axon Taser, Firearm Permit, Baton, Chemical Agents, First Aid/CPR/AED, TCCC/TECC, etc. Alternative work schedules available Paid Time Off, including Sick Time A dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growth
