Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver in Carlsbad, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and mall location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, tenant spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, providing directions and assistance to visitors while maintaining a professional presence. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and appropriate responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
