Key Control Officer (Full Time) (37186) Agua Caliente Cathedral City - Cathedral City, CA 92234 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description Job Description Summary Responsible for the overall security and integrity of all Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City keys and locking devices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Oversee the ACCC Key Control and Inventory System. Reference and maintain an updated key computer database program. Maintain an accountability of keys for departments that maintain a separate key control system. Complete necessary repair work related to keys, locks, locking devices. Coordinate outside locksmith service, when necessary, for the repair of locks and keep records and receipts of all repair work conducted by that service. Maintain Key/Lock Disposition Files and notify Surveillance and/or Gaming Agents of damaged or inoperable hardware. Duplicate keys on request and approval by the Director of Security. Responsible for Security Lost and Found. Create, provide and maintain a monthly inventory reference book for documentation of all items found, lost, and returned. Provide to the Director of Security a monthly inventory of all items donated. Responsible for storage and documentation of all contraband. Secure and document illegal weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and other items taken into custody or confiscated that are, and can be, considered illegal. Maintain relations with local law enforcement agencies for the release of contraband. Perform any other duties or assignments the Director of Security deems necessary.

Qualifications Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Desirable to have experience in law enforcement, security, military, current Guard Card or 832 PC college classes. Required to obtain a current CPR and First Aid Certificate. The First Aid Training is provided by the Security Safety Coordinator. Must be able to write clear and concise reports and be able to communicate in English.

One year related experience in security lock-smith industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working Conditions/Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to work in a lighting subdued environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
