Job Description

Facility Security Officer (FSO)
Location:
Coachella, CA ( 100% On-Site )
Schedule:
4/10 Work Week ( Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM )
Clearance:
Active DoD Secret (or eligible) Job Summary The company manufactures combustible ordnance and expendable countermeasures for US & allied armed forces. Working side-by-side with the Director of Security , the FSO manages day-to-day industrial, personnel, physical security, and regulatory compliance across the facility. Primary Responsibilities
NISPOM & DCSA
Compliance:
Enforce 32 CFR Part 117 standards, lead self-inspections, manage DD-254 security requirements, and oversee contract closeouts.
ATF & DoD AA&E Operations:
Manage facility compliance for ATF Federal Explosives Licenses (FEL) and DoD Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) regulations (DoDM 5100.76). Maintain explosives magazine logs, key/lock controls, and Employee Possessor Questionnaires (EPQs).
Personnel Security:
Administer clearances, transfers, and debriefings using DISS, NISS, e-QIP/NBIS, and eFCL. Conduct new-hire, foreign travel, and annual security briefings.
COMSEC & Systems:
Serve as COMSEC Custodian and Controlling Agent. Provide backup support for classified operating systems as
ISSM/ISSO.
Physical Security:
Oversee guard force, visitor control, badge access, closed areas, CFATS standards, and
CCTV/IDS
alarm response.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's Degree required (any field).
Experience:
3+ years of DoD NISPOM industrial security experience.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Working knowledge of ATF regulations (27 CFR Part 555) and DoD AA&E physical security requirements.
Clearance:
Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
Systems:
Hands-on proficiency in DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and eFCL.
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
