Duties Conduct regular patrols of designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports, managing conflicts through de-escalation techniques, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of security clearance procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Handle emergency situations by executing first aid procedures, and utilizing firearms or Tasers following strict safety protocols. Enforce security policies and compliance regulations diligently to uphold the integrity of the facility's safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance operations. Valid firearm handling certification along with use of force and power to arrest training. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and manual handling techniques. Ability to conduct thorough patrolling routines across large premises. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively while maintaining professionalism. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting when required, and respond swiftly in emergency scenarios. Familiarity with security regulations, compliance standards, fire safety protocols and law enforcement collaboration processes.
