AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and public spaces, observe and report unusual conditions, and provide directions or assistance to members of the public as needed. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Be able to ride a bike. A guard card/license is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
