Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the environment, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including designated areas such as entrances, exits, and sensitive zones. Monitor access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits. Respond promptly to security incidents or disturbances by applying conflict de-escalation techniques and managing conflict situations professionally. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and precision. Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as part of security screening procedures when required. inspections to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards. Follow emergency response procedures including first aid administration (CPR and AED operation), fire safety protocols, and evacuation procedures when necessary. Maintain compliance with all security regulations and company policies related to physical security measures. Assist in performing manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when needed for equipment or supplies. Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and assistance.
