This position is responsible for conducting dedicated vehicle and foot patrols within a residential HOA community. The officer will help promote community safety, enforce HOA rules and parking regulations, document maintenance and safety concerns, and provide professional assistance to residents and guests.

$18.00-$18.50 per hour Pay Details The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour during the first 90-day probationary period. Following successful completion of the probationary period, the employee may be eligible for an increase to $18.50 per hour , based on performance, attendance, reliability, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Schedule Saturday and Sunday:

4:30 PM-1:00 AM Candidates must also be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-visibility vehicle and foot patrols throughout the assigned HOA community. Enforce HOA rules and community regulations, including parking restrictions, noise policies, and unauthorized use of amenities. Monitor the pool, clubhouse, BBQ areas, gym, lounge, and other common areas for rule compliance. Assist residents and guests with general parking and community-related questions in a professional and respectful manner. Perform parking enforcement duties, including scanning license plates, verifying vehicle authorization, issuing citations, documenting violations, and coordinating towing when properly authorized. Document incidents, suspicious activity, transient activity, maintenance issues, and safety concerns through clear and detailed reports. Conduct routine property inspections to identify potential security risks, hazards, or maintenance concerns. Complete inspections of the assigned patrol vehicle and ensure it remains clean, fueled, organized, and ready for the next shift. Submit detailed shift reports, QR checkpoint scans, photographs, incident reports, and activity updates through the company's security software. Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and communication style when interacting with residents, guests, property management, coworkers, and law enforcement. Follow emergency response procedures, including contacting law enforcement, emergency services, and management when appropriate. Follow all company post orders, client instructions, parking enforcement procedures, and management directives. Required Qualifications Valid California BSIS Guard Card. Completion of all 40 hours of required BSIS security officer training. Ability to provide applicable BSIS training certificates upon request. Valid California driver's license. Clean and acceptable driving record. Ability to provide a current DMV driving record if selected to continue in the hiring process. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Reliable transportation to and from work. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and follow post orders, instructions, company policies, and established procedures. Must become familiar with and understand all assigned community parking rules, permit requirements, safe-listing procedures, citation guidelines, towing procedures, and enforcement policies. Ability to learn and accurately explain assigned community rules, policies, and procedures to residents and guests. Comfortable operating a company patrol vehicle. Comfortable using smartphone-based security applications to scan QR checkpoints, take photographs, complete reports, and document patrol activity. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area, including the assigned patrol vehicle and office. Willingness to assist with keeping the patrol vehicle clean and presentable, including taking it to an approved car wash when instructed. Previous experience in HOA security, residential community patrol, parking enforcement, or mobile patrol operations is preferred. Physical and Technology Requirements Ability to stand, walk, drive, and conduct patrol duties for extended periods. Ability to safely enter and exit a patrol vehicle multiple times during each shift. Ability to walk and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to scan approximately 15 QR checkpoints throughout the assigned community.
