Security Shift Supervisor Sky River Casino - 3.0 Elk Grove, CA Job Details 20 hours ago Qualifications Company vehicle operation Driver's License Productivity software Full Job Description The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for the loss prevention functions of the casino complex, including company assets on the casino floor and simulcast area, guest and team member security and safety. Ensures all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the company are firmly and fairly enforced. Directly responsible for supervision of all investigations performed by direct reports. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Security Department shift assigned. Assists the Security Shift Manager in training, selecting, developing, scheduling and directing the Security staff. Enforces performance standards for tasks, jobs and roles of their team members and aligns individual performance expectations with organizational goals. Disciplines team members and issues corrective actions. Implements systems to ensure compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations. Identifies and controls risks and threats to the safety and assets of the company, guests, and team members. Detains persons for probable cause for the purpose of notifying law enforcement and/or state gaming officials. Controls and maintains company-wide key controls throughout the property while on duty. Assigns Security personnel to specific assigned duties as needed. Performs physical escorts and/or arrests of non-compliant guests. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Associate degree in related field; or equivalent work experience. 3 years of related work experience in Security field. 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical with an occupational health professional. Must be capable of carrying out the physical responsibilities associated with a Security Officer role. Previous experience in a casino/hotel resort preferred. Must be able to pass a drug test that includes testing for THC. Ability to provide proof of a valid California driver's license. Ability to operate company vehicles. Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or dist ributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No Gaming License Required? Yes, process facilitated by the Company Other Certifications? CPR Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen Training, Alcohol Safety Training, Taser Energy Weapon Training, Workplace Violence Prevention 1, 2 & 3, certification for baton and handcuffing, and any other training as deemed necessary by management must be completed and will be provided by the Company upon hire.
