Event Safety & Security Officer Part-Time | North San Diego County $18-$26 per hour Evenings, Weekends & Holidays Required Help Create Safe, Memorable Events Trademark Venues is seeking professional, dependable Event Security Officers to join our growing team. You'll play a critical role in protecting our guests and beautiful venues during weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout North San Diego County. Unlike traditional security positions, this role combines security expertise with exceptional customer service. You'll work alongside venue management to create a safe, welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. What You'll Do Monitor guest, vendor, and employee access to event venues Patrol indoor and outdoor venue spaces to identify safety or security concerns Respond professionally to medical incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and safety violations De-escalate situations while maintaining a positive guest experience Work closely with venue management to resolve issues quickly and effectively Complete detailed incident reports Assist with alcohol security and compliance procedures Help ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Experience Minimum 2 years of proven experience as security or as event security Minimum of 1 year in a client facing service or hospitality role Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and focus under pressure Knowledge of security protocols and procedures Ability to stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours or more in a fast paced environment requiring movement Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
