We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Venue Opener to prepare our properties for weddings and special events by ensuring every venue is clean, organized, safe, and ready to welcome guests. About the Role The Venue Opener is responsible for preparing our venues each day to ensure they are event-ready and operating at the highest standard. Working both independently and alongside venue teams, this role supports event setup, property presentation, light groundskeeping, and operational readiness before guests, vendors, and event staff arrive. Success in this role requires reliability, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to anticipate what needs to be done to create an exceptional guest experience. What You'll Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare venue grounds and event spaces before each event. Set up and arrange outdoor furniture, décor, umbrellas, signage, and other venue elements. Perform light landscaping duties, including leaf blowing, debris removal, sweeping, watering plants, and maintaining water features. Ensure walkways, patios, ceremony sites, and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. Assist with executing event layouts by moving furniture and décor as directed. Perform basic operational checks on venue equipment and report maintenance concerns. Partner with maintenance, landscaping, and event teams to resolve property issues promptly. Maintain clean, organized storage areas and workspaces. Interact professionally with guests, vendors, and coworkers while providing outstanding customer service. Follow company safety procedures and operational standards. Perform other duties as assigned to support venue operations. What We're Looking For Experience Experience in a general labor role preferred Experience in hospitality preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event schedules. Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills preferred Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
