This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for property owners, guests, employees, and visitors The ideal candidate is observant, courteous, comfortable working with both private & minimal public, and able to handle both routine security responsibilities and emergency situations professionally. Responsibilities Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols of the premises. Control property access and verify authorized owners, guests, employees, vendors, and visitors. Document vehicles and individuals entering and leaving the property using our computer-based visitor management system. Provide courteous assistance, directions, and information to owners and guests. Perform radio transmissions; answer and process telephone and gatehouse requests professionally. Conduct mobile security patrols of roads, boundaries, buildings, and other Association property. Write detailed incident reports documenting incidents, property violations, patrol activity, and other security concerns. Check buildings and facilities to ensure they are secure and report damage or maintenance concerns. Respond appropriately to conflicts, medical emergencies, operational emergencies, and natural disasters. Keep the Supervisor advised of all activities and problems encountered on shift. Maintain awareness of rules, security procedures, and emergency response procedures. Maintain security work areas and equipment in clean and serviceable condition. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications Must be dependable and able to maintain predictable attendance. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous interpersonal skills. Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Basic computer skills and ability to learn web-based visitor management software. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Must be willing to wear the provided uniform and required boots. Must be trained in CPR and First Aid or able to meet the position's training requirements. Training will be provided by employer. Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or challenging interactions.
