Every Valcor officer is a direct W-2 employee, never subcontracted. About the Position We are hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a corporate client in Hawthorne, CA. The core of this role is consistent, disciplined exterior patrols. Our client trusts us with the safety of their people and property. We need officers who treat every patrol like it matters, because it does. Schedule Saturday-Tuesday. Two shifts available. Morning or swing. What You Will Do Conduct exterior patrols of the property every hour throughout the shift Maintain the safety and security of the client's people, buildings, and grounds Check perimeter fencing, gates, doors, and windows, and confirm the property is secured Watch for and report trespassers, suspicious activity, vandalism, and safety hazards such as lighting outages or unsecured entry points Learn and follow the post orders for the account Respond calmly and according to post orders and emergency procedures Document patrols, activity, and incidents through Belfry, and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports Communicate with Valcor operations and escalate issues promptly Maintain a professional, alert, and visible presence at all times Required Qualifications Active California BSIS Guard Card in good standing Ability to pass a background screening Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and patrol outdoors in all weather Strong situational awareness and sound judgment Clear written and verbal communication and solid report-writing skills Working smartphone with dependable service Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Preferred Prior security experience, especially on sensitive posts.
