Full Job Description Job Description:

Iris Protection Services is seeking dependable and professional Security Guards for a hybrid role covering event security as well as logistics/warehouse site security in the Los Angeles area. This position requires individuals who are adaptable and comfortable working in both fast-paced event environments and structured logistics settings, including monitoring truck activity and controlling site access.

Responsibilities:

Provide security services at events, ensuring safety of guests, staff, and property Maintain a strong, visible presence to deter unauthorized activity Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas Check in and check out trucks at logistics/warehouse sites Verify driver credentials, delivery paperwork, and appointment times Maintain accurate logs of vehicle and visitor activity Communicate clearly with dispatch, site managers, and team members Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or emergencies Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:

Valid California Guard Card (Required) Reliable transportation (Required) Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working both events and warehouse/logistics environments Ability to stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous event security experience Experience working at warehouses, distribution centers, or truck gates Familiarity with checking in/out trucks, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and driver logs Bilingual is a plus
