Duties Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and identify potential security threats. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address security breaches or incidents. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks for record-keeping and compliance. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies. Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations. Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances your ability to handle complex scenarios. Excellent conflict management skills with a calm and assertive demeanor. Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and loss prevention techniques. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders. Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while remaining alert.
