$19.00 to $22.00 per hour We are seeking professional, dependable, and experienced Security Officers to provide security services at a hospital and clinic facility in Los Angeles, CA 90037. Candidates must have prior security experience in a hospital setting and clinic security experience . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent observation abilities, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, medical staff, and facility employees Monitor hospital and clinic entrances, exits, hallways, parking areas, and common areas Control access to restricted areas Conduct routine security patrols and facility checks Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations Assist hospital and clinic staff with security-related concerns Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized individuals, safety hazards, and policy violations Enforce facility rules and security procedures professionally and respectfully Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity reports Contact emergency personnel or law enforcement when necessary Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented presence at all times Follow all company, client, hospital, and clinic policies and procedures Required Qualifications Prior hospital security experience (REQUIRED) Prior clinic security experience (REQUIRED) Valid BSIS Guard Card ( REQUIRED) Valid government issued identification or valid driver's license ( REQUIRED) Must be available to work all shifts , including day, swing, and graveyard Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with patients, visitors, staff, and emergency situations Preferred Qualifications Current CPR certification ( Preferred) Baton Permit ( Preferred) Handcuff Certification ( Preferred) Previous experience working in emergency departments or medical facilities ( Preferred) Additional healthcare security experience( Preferred) Baton and handcuff certifications are preferred but not required. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has hands-on experience providing security in hospitals and medical clinics and understands the unique responsibilities of working in a healthcare environment. Healthcare security officers must be able to interact professionally with patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, administrators, and other medical personnel while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
