Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this energetic position, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring the safety of personnel and property through vigilant observation, proactive engagement, and excellent customer service. Your presence will help foster a sense of security and trust within our community, making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security issues or hazards. Manage access control by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders. Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any concerns immediately. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Engage with visitors and staff in a professional manner, offering assistance and fostering a welcoming environment. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and conflict management techniques. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse individuals.
