On-Call / Non-Exempt Job Summary DRS Protect, Inc. is seeking dependable and professional On-Call Flex Security Officers to support our local client in Napa, CA. This flexible role allows officers to view, claim, and work available shifts using our mobile scheduling app. Primarily, we are looking for individuals who are available Friday evenings to cover a shift in the event the full-time guard calls off. Most evening shifts are only 3.5 hours but you will be paid 4.5 hours (1 hour free) for working the short shift. Essential Job Functions Accept and work a minimum of 8 hours within a 30-day period, unless no shifts are available to claim. Maintain access to a reliable smartphone capable of running the Connecteammobile application. Review shift details, post orders, location, schedule, and pay rate prior to claiming any assignment. Only claim shifts that you are fully willing and able to work as scheduled. Report to assigned job sites on time and perform all required security duties in accordance with post orders and company standards. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current and valid California BSIS Guard Card. Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including overtime as required. Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn and take initiative.
