Event Security Guard - (On-Call)

On-Call Position Overview Mendoza Private Security is hiring professional, licensed Security Guards to join our On-Call Event Team . We provide security for local festivals, concerts, and sporting events throughout the North Bay. We are looking for dependable, observant, and professional guards who can handle high-traffic environments. Availability Requirements This position is designed for those looking for supplemental work that happens outside of standard business hours.

Mandatory Availability:

You must be available to work evenings and weekends (Friday-Sunday).

Flexibility:

Shifts are offered on an as-needed basis. Priority will be given to candidates with the most open availability.

Shift Lengths :

Events typically require 8 to 12-hour shifts.

Environment :

Most assignments are outdoors. You must be comfortable standing for long periods and prepared to work in changing weather conditions (hot days, cold nights).

Physicality :

You will be on your feet patrolling, managing gates, and monitoring crowd flow.

Key Responsibilities Access Control :

Managing checkpoints and verifying credentials.

Crowd Management :

Maintaining a safe environment for all guests.

Patrols :

Monitoring facility perimeters and high-traffic zones.

Incident Response :

Responding to issues calmly and communicating clearly with dispatch. Requirements Active California Guard Card (Required). Reliable transportation to various event sites in the North Bay.
