What You'll Do As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment. Depending on your assignment, responsibilities may include: Maintain a professional and visible security presence Monitor entrances, exits, and controlled access points Verify authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols Monitor assigned buildings, parking areas, and surrounding property Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Assist employees, visitors, and guests while providing professional customer service Enforce site security policies and procedures Use radios, mobile devices, and other security equipment as assigned Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: Be at least 18 years of age Possess an active California Guard Card Possess a valid Driver's License Have a High School Diploma or GED Have at least 6 months of security experience Have reliable transportation Be able to commute within the assigned service area Be able to pass a background investigation Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Be able to stand, walk, patrol, and perform assigned security duties for extended periods Preferred Qualifications We're especially interested in candidates with: Customer service experience Open or flexible availability Access control experience Patrol experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in professional, public-facing, or high-traffic environments Multiple Opportunities Available We're hiring for multiple Security Officer assignments throughout the Oceanside area , with different schedules and work environments available.
