PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
