In this vital role, you will ensure the safety and well-being of guests, staff, and property through vigilant surveillance, proactive conflict management, and prompt emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor resort premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to maintain safety and security standards. Control access points by verifying guest, staff, contractor, and visitor credentials to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond swiftly to security incidents or disturbances, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively. Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance to guests or staff in medical emergencies. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed. Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or property damage. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for ongoing security audits. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures. Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail to identify potential security threats promptly.
