Job Description

HOSP DESK & PRK AMB, SECURITY
Position Summary:
Responsible for the safety of hospital lobbies by being the first security representative that Associates, patients and visitors see when they enter the hospital. Checks in visitors, vendors and contractors by using and maintaining the electronic visitor log system. Ensures the compliance of visitation rules and safety procedures in the hospital. Acts as a liaison between hospital customers and hospital Associates. Provide directions to customers and answers all visitation questions in a professional and courteous manner. May be assigned to work at the hospital desks in lobbies and/or parking booths. Provides parking directions to customers as well as the directions to hospital services or special events when working the parking booths. Reports suspicious circumstances and maintains direct lines of communication with security dispatch and security officers. Monitors computer systems at the front desk as assigned. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. AHA (American Heart Association) HeartSaver certification or the ability to obtain within fourteen (14) days of position classification. Strong public relations/communication skills.

Prior experience in Customer Service or related field.
Salary Range:
$25.30 - $26.89 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
SALARY RANGE INCLUDES EVENING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
