Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of the facility, including building interiors, exteriors, and access points to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential security threats. Control access to the premises using access control systems, verifying identities and maintaining logs of visitors and staff. Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for record-keeping and future reference. Assist with performing background checks on visitors or contractors as required by security protocols. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
