Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of designated areas using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats. Monitor CCTV systems and access control systems to oversee security footage and regulate entry points effectively. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities by following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other occurrences with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as part of access control procedures to ensure compliance with security policies. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques during tense situations, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times. Operate security equipment such as Taser, firearm handling tools, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and perform first aid or CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals. Skills Strong surveillance skills with experience in CCTV operation and monitoring for suspicious activity. Military or law enforcement background providing a solid foundation in security protocols, incident management, and emergency response procedures. Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities to handle challenging situations effectively. Knowledge of physical security measures including heavy lifting, manual handling, and fire safety protocols. Proficiency in incident report writing with attention to detail for legal and operational purposes. Familiarity with access control systems and performing background checks to maintain secure premises. Customer service orientation combined with professionalism to interact positively with staff, visitors, and contractors.
